The Electronic System for Import, Export and Transit Permits (EXIM: Republic of Macedonia's Single Window system) is a common system for managing licenses. Through this system, economic operators apply for licenses to the competent authorities and the system as such is readily available to all business entities that possess a proper e-certificate. EXIM system has been established in the year of 2008 and is binding to all state authorities that use an electronic licensing system. The legal framework for using this system is the Regulation of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia. The system is a useful tool through which 60 different licenses are issued by competent authorities.

At this link, for each tariff number, one could find information about the license they need for import of goods, which Ministry or Agency is issuing that document and they could apply in those institutions. Some requests could be applied only electronically and some only on paper. Customs Administration of the Republic of Macedonia contacts those Ministries or Agencies to prepare the requests all only electronically.
